Victoria Beach – Menaggio is the new luxury lido designed by architect Franco Pè of Carimate, directly connected to and part of the Grand Hotel Victoria 5*L of the R Collection Hotels group, already our client for the hotel’s interior signage.
A complete redevelopment project that has transformed an old lakeside facility into a contemporary, refined space equipped with high-end services.
The venue features a private beach with direct access to the swimmable lake, three swimming pools – including a heated infinity pool overlooking the lake – a dedicated kids’ area, service buildings and two outdoor bars. The main building houses the Erre Restaurant&Bar and a large event hall for up to 240 guests, complete with a panoramic terrace.
For Victoria Beach, IKON developed a signage system based on custom solutions and elements from the Cartesio line, designed to seamlessly integrate with the architectural concept of the new venue.

The directional totems and external structures were custom-made and painted in “ottanio,” the institutional color of R Collection Hotels and a distinctive feature of the lido’s identity. A chromatic choice that ensures visual continuity with both the landscape and the brand’s coordinated image.

Inside the Erre Restaurant&Bar, to maintain stylistic coherence with the Grand Hotel Victoria, we used Molteni gold finishes, echoing the language of luxury and refinement that defines the brand.
The result is a wayfinding system that naturally guides guests across the beach, pools, service areas and buildings, enhancing the overall experience through signage that is discreet, harmonious and perfectly aligned with the architecture.
