“From the center of Bologna to the airport in 7 minutes”, the monorail train of the Emilian capital is a zero-emission means of transportation capable of producing autonomously – through solar panels – up to one-third of the energy necessary for the full mobility of 2 million passengers.

In this highly technological context, IKON Segnali and Imecon have developed urban furniture with a futuristic design using high-quality materials, through the use of 100% sustainable high-visibility devices, with touch-screen technology accompanied by a comprehensive and punctual static signage system.

The installed screens integrate an innovative system to display real-time departure and arrival times of the airport and the central station, as well as information about the city, events, and advertising.

They are true hubs of processed and constantly updated data to provide infotainment content related to the city of Bologna and its main strategic transport nodes.

Highly performant, they are also equipped with maintenance software and remote management capable of autonomously controlling and managing the status of installed devices and reproduced content, using the same technology installed in the famous London Underground.
