Our philosophy has always been based on product and service quality; we offer specialized assistance focused on proposing “wayfinding” solutions to orient and guide people in complex settings such as hospitals, schools, and public buildings. The indications provided by environmental signage projects vary, they range from simple guidance to all types of useful information, including commands and prohibitions as well as commercial and corporate directions. From experience, we know that signage is not the only way to guide the users towards their destination. The first and most crucial information for directions is the environment itself. Our design process starts with the analysis of the place, setting, shapes, passages, and obstacles.

A partner for Design Studios
We put our expertise at the service of architects and designers to combine effectiveness and functionality with the aesthetic, landscape, and environmental requirements of the projects. Logistics and wayfinding ought to be an integral part of the overall design of a building or a place in general. Sometimes these aspects are neglected, and our intervention becomes a project aimed at fixing architectural shortcomings. We position ourselves as project partners to be involved right from the architectural design phases, to identify and resolve problematic areas in advance by making structural changes, thus minimizing the need for signage.
Together with the designers we evaluate the materials to be used and the aesthetics of the shapes according to the architecture, the structural finishes, and the brand image of the place. Wood, iron, corten, plexiglass, glass, aluminium, vinyl film, dibond, perspex, steel: we select the most suitable material for aesthetics and functionality to develop highly customized solutions.

IKON Segnali implements the Certified Quality System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO14001:2015 standards.
The certification extends from production to design, up to the entire commercial distribution and assistance cycle, mainly through the diligent compliance with environmental and safety regulations, the adoption and development of efficient and appropriate production processes and methods, as well as through the commitment to reducing the environmental impacts from their processes by using recovered material and reducing energy consumption.
