The restyling of the directional signage at the Pederzoli Hospital in Peschiera del Garda stems from the need to guide the user in an environment that has undergone continuous evolution in recent years.
Hence the necessity to clearly identify external pathways and accesses, internal vertical pathways divided according to the AREAS of belonging. The main objective of the Wayfinding project was to optimize space usage, moving away from the customization of specific clinics or departments and introducing concepts of homogeneous ACTIVITY AREAS as well as wards characterized by the same level of nursing care.
To clearly direct the user to a specific area, a unique identification code was used, composed as follows: Area | floor | waiting or sector. The signage system used is CARTESIO, the graphic of the signs integrates harmoniously with the environments, recalling the geometries and colors present in waiting areas and in the pathways designated for users.
