A bright factory of ideas. This is the new Architecture Campus of the Politecnico di Milano: the project is designed by the ODB Ottavio Di Blasi & Partners studio from an idea of Renzo Piano.
The concept for the wayfinding system was developed and implemented by the Ikon Segnali team in collaboration with the ODB Ottavio Di Blasi & Partners studio. The external signage, and particularly the orientation totems, were designed to fulfil not only the purpose but also the aesthetics and identity of the architectural complex.
Cartesio, our modular system, was chosen for the internal signage, which, drawing inspiration from the latest minimalist trends, with its orthogonal flat surfaces, thin thicknesses, rounded edges, and contemporary design, fits perfectly into the overall vision.
