The signs are designed for disassembly at the end of their life so that their parts and components can be reused, recycled, or recovered for energy purposes. In particular, materials such as aluminium and nylon (with the exception of film coatings) can be separated manually as they are assembled together with mechanical fixings or without the use of glues and adhesives.
The company intends to adopt evaluation criteria aimed at selecting products and services in accordance with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (MEC), the requirements established for the various phases of the purchasing process, aimed at identifying the best product, service or design solution in environmental terms, throughout its life cycle, taking account of availability on the market. Processing scraps (aluminium, plastic materials, packaging) are sent to industries that recycle the materials.
