Between privacy and advertising

Glass graphics solutions are mainly used to provide privacy, but at the same time, they have an important branding function. When specially designed for advertising purposes, their function is to attract the attention of potential customers encouraging them to remember or visit the advertised shop or business.

The first glass decals were invented in the early twentieth century in the form of painted glass panes. They were used to decorate shops, public places, and homes with the aim of letting light filter inside while preventing the view from the outside. Technological innovations in materials now offer a wide variety of films with special abilities, including bright colours, one-way window views, or even UV ray protection.
