Ikon Segnali for the Community Health Center of Ospitaletto: A New Project Serving Healthcare in Lombardy

Ikon Segnali is proud to announce a new collaboration with ASST degli Spedali Civili di Brescia at the Community Health Center in Ospitaletto, a local healthcare facility dedicated to providing primary care and preventive services to the local population. This project, implemented with the Cartesio System and wall graphic solutions, is part of the broader regional initiative of “Community Health Centers and Hospitals” by the Lombardy Region.

Since 2021, Community Health Centers have been established across various locations in the region, with the aim of creating innovative healthcare facilities that meet citizens’ needs, improving access to primary care, and managing chronic and low-complexity patients. Designed to serve approximately 50,000 residents each, these spaces are the result of an integrated vision that combines healthcare and social services.

The collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano was essential in defining the visual identity of these centers. Specifically, the Politecnico developed a Brand Book and guidelines to standardize the furnishings and signage for Community Health Centers and Hospitals across Lombardy. Our Cartesio System was chosen as the foundational signage element for these facilities, ensuring consistency and recognizability across all centers.

The pilot project, implemented at the Community Health Center of Rugabella in Milan, served as a model for all future facilities, thanks to the dedication and synergy between Ikon Segnali, Politecnico di Milano, and ASST Nord Milano. With the installation of signage at the Community Health Center in Ospitaletto, Ikon continues to contribute to this initiative, supporting Lombardy’s healthcare network in its mission to promote health and well-being for its citizens.
